A selection of With Vent Extractable Dowel Pins. Hardened and Ground Steel 100 Cr6 with a ground flat along one edge. DIN7979D.

  • Also known as parallel pins.
  • Dowel pins are not used as bearing shafts under normal circumstances, due to their oversized tolerances
  • An expanded range may be available on special order. Please enquire.
  • Extractable dowels have a thread tapped in the end to fascilitate removal from blind holes
  • Hardness 55-62 HRC, HV550-650
  • An air release flat is ground along the full length of the pin to overcome the problem of pressure build up by trapped air.
