  • Dowel pins are not used as bearing shafts under normal circumstances, due to their oversized tolerances

  • Extractable dowels have a thread tapped in the end to fascilitate removal from blind holes.
  • Hardness 55-62 HRC, HV550-650
  • Extractable pins may or may not have a flat to vent pressure when pulling
