Hardened and Ground Steel 100 Cr6. Din 7979.
Extractable dowels have a thread tapped in the end to fascilitate removal from blind holes.
Hardness 55-62 HRC, HV550-650
Extractable pins may or may not have a flat to vent pressure when pulling
