Bearings for dental handpieces come in many shapes and sizes.
Many low-speed dental handpieces only require standard type cages. We recommend Stainless Steel and at least P6 precision for these applications.
High-speed dental handpieces usually have a synthetic cage. The range of high-speed dental bearings offered by MBA include
● Phenolic (usually brown)
● Polyamide (usually black)
● Torlon (usually black)
High-speed handpiece bearings are generally at least Abec 7 precision, and often have modified internal design.
MBA also offers a range of complete turbines and canisters for some handpieces. Turbines consist of a spindle/chuck with impeller. Canisters are a turbine with bearings encapsulated in a small metallic container.
Special dental O’Rings and Washers are also available.
