  • Worms and Gears must be chosen from the same pitch, direction and lead angle match. DP is Diametrical Pitch, which is an imperial standard.
  • A single start worm and gear will provide a ratio equivalent to the number of teeth on the gear. A double start worm and gear will provide a ratio of half the number of teeth on the gear.
  • If there is no matching worm for a stocked gear, please contact us for a special procurement. An expanded range may be available on special order. Please enquire.
